One-way Moisture Conduction Technology — Balancing Function and Comfort
Dry without traces, Long-Lasting Freshness
What is One-way Moisture Conduction Technology
One-way moisture conduction is a fabric technology designed to quickly wick moisture and sweat in one direction through special fiber structures or processing methods, while preventing moisture from reabsorbing. This helps keep the skin dry, especially insports or high-temperature environments, enhancing wearing comfort.
The two conditions required for one-way moisture conduction are:
1.The inner layer of the fabric has a good capillary effect.
2.The outer layer of the fabric has good moisture diffusion properties.
The Principle of One-way Moisture Conduction Technology
One-way moisture conduction is a special fabric property that allows moisture or sweat to quickly transfer from the inner layer (the side in contact with the skin) to the outer layer (the side away from the skin), where it evaporates and diffuses. This transfer process is directional, meaning that moisture or sweat can only move from the inner layer to the outer layer, and cannot reverse its direction.
The inner and outer layers of the one-way moisture conduction fabric have different moisture-absorbing properties. The outer layer is hydrophilic, while the inner layer is mostly hydrophobic. This difference is utilized to achieve the single-direction moisture-wicking effect. Moisture is transferred through the small hydrophilic areas of the inner layer to the hydrophilic outer layer, where it quickly diffuses and evaporates.
Characteristics of One-way Moisture-Conducting Fabrics
The fabric quickly absorbs sweat from the skin’s surface and channels it to the outer layer for evaporation, keeping the skin dry.
The fabric’s structure is designed so that moisture can only move in one direction, effectively preventing sweat from accumulating on the skin's surface and reducing discomfort.
Enhanced Comfort:
Due to its moisture-wicking properties, the wearer feels more comfortable, especially during intense physical activity or extended wear, as it helps alleviate discomfort and friction caused by sweat accumulation.
The fabric allows air to circulate, further enhancing comfort during wear.
It is suitable for frequent use and repeated washing without losing its moisture-wicking functionality.
